We’re posting this film from our archives because its message has become even more pertinent over the years. Originally filmed in 1946 by Encyclopaedia Britannica, this eleven-minute video is astonishingly forward-looking in its assessment of how well a country serves its citizens – and by what means the reverse may be imposed. Simple, straightforward and nonpartisan, it offers solid tools that any citizen may use to see to what extent their society is free, or, conversely, to what extent their culture has come under the grips of undue influence.
What do you think about this film? Do you agree? We’d love to hear from you!
